Ascend has closed five acquisitions that support Fidelity BSG’s strategy to expand its services and geographic footprint.
TYSONS, VA (December 17, 2021) – Ascend Capital Group (“Ascend”) served as the buy-side advisor to Fidelity Building Services Group (“Fidelity BSG”), a premier provider of high-performance integrated technical building solutions, on its acquisition of South Florida Controls (“SFC”). SFC is a Miami-based building automation and controls systems integrator that offers energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to the South Florida market.
SFC delivers innovative, dependable, and user-friendly building solutions to commercial, industrial, institutional buildings, and more and works alongside building managers and property owners to ensure that building automation systems (BAS) run at optimal performance. The company’s services include energy management, lighting controls, access controls, and the integration of multiple building management systems.

This is the fifth acquisition Ascend has originated and closed on behalf of Fidelity BSG’s acquisition strategy.
