WASHINGTON, DC (September 2, 2024) – Ascend Capital Group is pleased to announce the hiring of William Wang as an Investment Banking Associate. William brings solid experience in M&A, private equity, and corporate advisory, supporting our ongoing commitment to delivering personalized and effective advisory services to our clients.
William’s background includes valuable experience in middle-market transactions and financial analysis, making him a strong asset to our growing team. He joins Ascend from Bestige Holdings, where he worked as a Private Equity Associate, focusing on middle-market buyouts. Prior to that, William was an Investment Banking Analyst at Centerview Partners, handling complex financial transactions across various sectors. His career also includes service as an active-duty soldier in the United States Army, where he developed a disciplined approach to leadership and problem-solving—qualities he brings to his role at Ascend.

William graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and a minor in East Asian Studies. He was also a member of the Beta Tau chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
