Ryan Foster

Ryan serves as an Investment Banking Analyst at Ascend, supporting financial modeling, market research, and transaction execution across the firm’s software and technology verticals.

Prior to joining Ascend, Ryan gained experience in commercial banking at SouthState Bank, where he developed financial and underwriting models supporting credit facilities and middle-market client engagements for businesses scaling past $100 million in revenue.

Ryan graduated from Longwood University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting. While at Longwood, he competed on the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis team, and co-authored published research in the Journal of Applied Business and Economics evaluating the ExxonMobil–Pioneer Natural Resources merger.

Outside the office, Ryan enjoys surfing, traveling, and following Georgia football.
