Mike LoPresti

Mike joined Ascend in 2024 as an Investment Banking Analyst and was promoted to Investment Banking Associate at the end of 2025. Prior to this, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Canaccord Genuity in New York, where he focused on complex financial transactions within the Technology, Media, and Information Services sectors. Additionally, Mike gained industry experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at Drake Star Partners.

Before his career in finance, Mike was a 2018 MLB Draft pick and a Professional Baseball Player for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He attended St. John's University, where he was a member of the baseball team and earned a B.S. in Finance.
