About Eric Parekh
Eric brings over two decades of experience executing complex transactions at the intersection of services and technology M&A. His perspective is forged from sitting on both sides of the negotiating table, advising founders, and representing the sophisticated capital allocators who define the middle market.
Eric brings extensive experience in primary investing, M&A roll-up strategies, and buy-side execution, having sat in both the corporate development and buy-side advisory seats. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside notable private equity sponsors, including Insight Partners, Oaktree Capital, Onex, and Sterling Partners, as well as market-leading portfolio companies like Fidelity BSG, System One, Cornerstone Records Management, Merkle, and IMPAQ International. Demonstrating his capacity for rapid consolidation, Eric led over a dozen acquisitions for Fidelity BSG and executed 18 acquisitions in 18 months for Cornerstone Records Management before its ultimate exit to Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM). That sustained exposure across the transaction lifecycle has shaped his view of M&A not as isolated events, but as strategic building blocks that create and compound enterprise value over time.
This foundational buy-side strength has translated directly into his sell-side advisory success. By evaluating opportunities through an institutional buyer's lens, Eric has led significant sell-side transactions, including the sale of Eneractive Solutions to Edison International (NYSE: EIX), the majority recapitalization of ShadowDragon to Sverica Capital Management, which was recognized as the Growth Investment Deal of the Year, and the sales of Dunbar Cybersecurity to ControlScan, FourV Systems to Opaq Networks, and Chesapeake System Solutions to Trintech and Vista Equity Partners.
Pairing his rigorous execution capabilities with deep advisory experience, Eric is consistently at the forefront of dealmaking, representing prominent family offices, private equity firms, and founder-led businesses. He expertly guides companies in positioning the specific attributes that acquirers value most. His thought leadership has been recognized in publications such as Mergers & Acquisitions and HVACR Business. His background also includes transaction advisory roles at Evergreen Advisors and Raymond James.
Outside the office, Eric can be found fly-fishing for trout in Montana, riding horses with his daughter, exploring the ocean floor while scuba diving with his son, or traveling to exotic destinations with his wife. The grit and passion for excellence that drive his personal pursuits are the exact qualities he brings to the deal table. He evaluates every challenge with the expectation of a perfect outcome.
